WAY, James B. Jr., 46, of Pflugerville, Texas, formerly of Roanoke, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 in Odessa, Texas. He was a 1975 graduate of Northside High School. After graduating from North Carolina State University in computer science, he worked in Huntsville, Ala. As a software engineer and moved to Austin, Texas to continue his work. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James B. Way, Roanoke; sister, Sue Way, Virginia Beach; grandmother, Eunice Barger, Buchanan; uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Barger, Dorothy Carson, all of Buchanan; Mr. and Mrs. John B. Harris, Virginia Beach. The funeral service will be held at Arcadia Baptist Church at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 24. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan. Friends may call Wednesday, July 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, Arcadia Baptist Church, Fairview Cemetery Association or the Buchanan Rescue Squad.
