David Henninger - Class Of 1974 VIEW PROFILE

Mr. David Lee Henninger, 59, of Rockmart, died peacefully at home Thursday, July 30, 2015, surrounded by his wife, children and home hospice.

David was born May 25, 1956, in Johnson City, Tenn., and was a graduate from Northside High School in Roanoke, Va., and attended Catawba College in North Carolina.

He was most recently employed with J.R. Electrical Co., Inc., Marietta as a Senior Estimator.

David enjoyed riding his Harley often with his wife Dree along for short day trips.

Mr. Henninger is survived by his wife, Dree Henninger of Rockmart; daughter Katy Hott and her husband, Matt, Acworth; stepson, Hugh Rickenbaker, IV, and his wife, Erika, Atlanta; and Joe Henninger, Acworth.

Parents: Gerry and Kitty Henninger of Abingdon, Va.; sister Ginny Lyles and her husband, Dale of Newnan; twin brother Charles Henninger and his wife, Melissa of Daleville, Va.; brother Daniel Henninger and his wife Linda of Mableton, several nieces and nephews, and a host of first cousins.

The memorial service conducted by Rev. Jeannette Dickens from Rockmart First United Methodist Church was held on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, at County Line UMC in Acworth.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David’s name to Rockmart First UMC, attention River of Life Program, P.O. Box 152, Rockmart, Ga., 30153.

Georgia Funeral Services of Acworth served the Henninger family.
