Sharon Taliaferro Kragh

April 2, 1956 - December 30, 2020

Sharon Taliaferro Kragh, 64, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Phyllis Jean Hill Taliaferro.

Sharon was a 1974 graduate of Northside High School. At the time of her death she was working as the director of nursing at the Adult Care Center of Ronaoke.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Chris L. Kragh; children, Stephanie Kragh, John (Geneva Jennings) Kragh, and Brian Kragh; granchildren, Jessica and Grace Freeman, Noah Kragh, Ilya Pendergraft, Tatum and Teagan Kragh; sister, Pam (Dean) Hightower, Belinda (Michael) Galvin; sister-in-law, Bonnie Kragh; brother-in-law, Dennis Kragh.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will be in Blue Rdige Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
