Hazeltine Johnson, 66, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at LewisGale Medical Center. She was born on March 21, 1952, in Hollins, VA, to the late Monroe and Rosalie Hunt Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ella Mae Waid, Susanna Hunt and brother, Monroe R. Johnson Sr.Hazeltine leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Lois Keeling, Virginia (John) Blaney and Celeste Fallen; brothers, James A. Johnson Sr. and William S. (Sibyl) Johnson; devoted friends, Arthur W. Deane Jr., Brenda Lacey, Connie Durham, Shirley Farmer, Barbara Lewis, Margaret Richardson and Lenore Nichols Pattillo; godchildren, Vashti Lynch, Vidahl Lynch and Azariah Pattillo. A host of other relatives and friends.Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018, at First Baptist Church-Hollins. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
