FARMAKIS, Debra L., ("Debbie"), 33, died Saturday, February 13, 1993. Surviving are her son, Christopher Farmakis of Enfield, Conn.; her mother, Carrie Carter Farmakis of Enfield, Conn.; her father, George T. Farmakis of Roanoke; her twin sister, Donna Farmakis and Donna's fiance, Sam Lauria, both of Enfield, Conn.; her brother, George Farmakis of Florida; her grandmother, Ruby Vernon of Roanoke; her aunts and uncles, Lorraine and Paul Silvers of Roanoke, Winston and Joyce Carter, Burke and Kathy Carter and Sylvia Austin, all of Vinton, Cristos and Tasia Farmakis of Athens, Greece, Johnny and Rena Farmakis, Jimmy and Barbara Farmakis, all of Roanoke; her stepmother, Kathy Farmakis of Bedford; numerous cousins and a special family friend, Charles Hartman of Vinton. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Vinton Chapel 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 1993 with Rev. Robert Lanier officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends at Lotz Vinton Chapel 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
