Shirley Kelley Sharafi, 64, of Roanoke County, Va., went to be with our Lord on Friday, August 2, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pat Kelley; brother-in-law, Randy Collins; and sister, Nancy Sexton.

Shirley graduated from Northside High School in 1977 and worked as a dispatcher for 10 years at the Roanoke County Police Department. She loved spending time with her family and her close and dear friend, Diane Friend. She loved to travel going from Alaska to the Grand Canyon, Ireland and many other destinations. She especially loved to play cards with her sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving sisters, Katie Collins, Jeanie Kelley, and Randie Gail Morris (Rick); brother-in-law, Greg Sexton; best friend, Diane; and many nieces and nephews. Her memory will be cherished in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Oakey's East Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.Oakeys.com.
