On Friday, May 15, 2015 Jon Randall (Randy) Clark, 54, of Roanoke was welcomed into the Lord's presence. He was preceded in the journey by his grandparents, John L. and Mamie Fulp.Randy was a 1978 graduate of Northside High School and received his Business Management degree from Virginia Western Community College. He was a well known and well respected businessman in the Roanoke Valley. In addition to being a loving son, husband, father, and brother he was an avid outdoorsman, gardener, and world traveler. From a very young age he excelled in motocross racing.Surviving are his wife, Carlene Flynn Clark; son, Caleb Clark; daughter, Casey Clark; mother, Peggy Fulp Clark; father, Richard (Dick) Clark; brother, Richard Steven Clark; sisters, Sherri Clark McGuire and husband Michael, Karen Erkkila and husband Ron; nieces, Rachael Freeman and husband Scott; Anna McGuire; father-in-law and mother-in-law; Donald and Janice Flynn; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brian and Sarah Flynn, and their son Teddy, Kevin and Melanie Flynn; and his friends too numerous to mention.The family will always be grateful to the Medi Home Hospice staff, especially his nurses, Teresa and Diana for their support and compassion.In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Bone Marrow Foundation, 515 Madison Avenue, Suite 1130, New York, NY 10022 or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 310, White Plains, NY 10605. Funeral Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Larry Sprouse. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
