David W. "Dave" Crouch, 69, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Orick Crouch; parents, Wilsie and Betty Rakes Crouch; and sisters, Barbara Bradford and JoAnn Crouch.

David retired from Appalachain Power Company after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially the time that they spent at the lake.

Surviving are his daughter, Stacy Crouch (Randy) Brown; son, Michael Crouch; grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Brown, and Zachary Logan Brown; brother, Wilsie (Karen) Crouch; and his much loved dog, Mitzi.

A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2022, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Troy Mays. The family will receive friends from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.
