Mike was one of my best friends, we met in first grade. He was a "G" and I was a"H", so he always was seated in front of me in school. We went to Holy Rosary, Aquinas, MCC and RIT together. He was straight "A" student in Business. Mike was a very hard worker always gave a 110% and a very kind soul. He moved to Baltimore for a job opportunity, he always worked in the transportation business and lastly with Mercedes Benz. He also ran his own bail bond company in Baltimore. He never married but did take in a number of foster kids that needed someone to guide them and keep them on track. He treated them as if they were his own and always provided them a good life. Mike grew up in a fatherless house so he understood the need for a male presence. We shared a love for nice fast cars, all sports and NASCAR ( we attended the Watkins Glen race, with a group of childhood friends over the last 20+ years) Mike suffered over the last 4 years but never gave in and put up a great fight. He will be buried in Hornell NY at the family plot He will be greatly missed - may he rest in peace.
