Thank you for the reunion invite. However, Steve was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in 1998 and lived a good and active life until August, 2005. He was able to sing in the choir until June of that year. He participated in other choral singing as well as serving on several boards until shortly before, as in his words, "ALS turned the corner" mid-summer of 2005. His BDG big brother, Dave McFarlane spoke at his memorial service and we continue to keep in touch.
