Lynn, so sorry to hear that Bob required heart surgery. My husband had double bypass heart surgery on March 19, 2024. his heart is now beating fine, I am thankful to say. I am praying that Bob will have a smooth recovery.

Update on Bob Jackson: He is still in the heart ICU unit.  His heart is working wonderfully.  Unfortunately, we have a problem with his lungs.  He is still on a vent which needs to be removed in the next couple of days. If he is not able to get his oxygen levels where needed they will put in a trach temporarily.  My daugher and her family have been here with me and that has been such a blessing.  Thank you for all your prayers.  Please continue to pray for Bob as he recovers from his surgery and that his lungs will work as needed.  .

As I write this Bob is being prepared to get his vent removed and a trach inserted.  A miracle occurred overnight when his oxygen levels suddenly went down to the needed levels to allow the vent to be removed from his throat. We feel truly blessed at this point.  Thank you for your prayers. Please continue them.

Update on Bob Jackson:  It has literally been a see-saw experience.  He is up one day; down the next.  The doctors took him off sedation yesterday and he seemed to be doing better.  He even gave me a smile when I told him Carolina beat Clemson.  Went in today to visit and they were putting him back on sedation.  He has an infection somewhere and is running a fever.  His blood pressure was also up.  Please continue to pray for his complete healing.

It is with so much sadness that I tell you that Bob passed away today.  His lungs could not be healed and his kidneys had begun to fail.  My heart and my children's are broken. We had to make the difficult decision to remove his medications and vent.  Please pray for our family.  It has been a difficult month for us.
