Obituary

Randall Kent Kessinger passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 29, 2024. Randy was born in Pearisburg, VA on May 29, 1948. He was the son of Orley “Red” Kessinger and Juanita Vaught Kessinger. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Elaine Kessinger Craig (Tom) and Gerald Edward Kessinger.

He was a retired pipe fitter and always had a smile to give. He enjoyed metal detecting, attending shag events, and spending time with family and friends. He was a former member of the Rock Hill Rescue Squad and was a Shriner.

He is survived by his children, Dani Kessinger Kimbrell, Brandi (Patrick) Clark, and Drew (Katy) Hodges. Katy was a caregiver and great friend to Randy for many years. He had 5 grandsons, Nicholas Kimbrell, Preston Hodges, Riley Clark, Will Clark, and Jay Kimbrell and many beloved nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732.
