Lawrence “Larry” Donahue, III, 68, of Catawba, SC passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at home.

Born in Hamlet, NC, Mr. Donahue was the son of the late Lawrence Astor Donahue, Jr. and Edith Coward Donahue. He was a fireman for 32 years and a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He was a member of First Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry H. Donahue.

He is survived by his wife Ellen Donahue; a son, Scott Donahue and his wife Summer; and 2 grandchildren, Grey and Neely.

A graveside service will be held 1pm Friday, November 7, 2014 at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Rd.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
