Frizette was a beautiful lady, inside and out, and a friend to all that she met. At a time of unrest when schools were newly integrated, Frizette went out of her way to improve race relations, and to fight the ignorance of prejudice. Frizette was Sullivan Jr. High and NWHS's personal ambassador for the civil rights movement and I honor her memory as such. I am thankful to Frizette for her friendship and cherish the wisdom that she shared starting at such a young age. The world is truly a better place because of her legacy.

During junior and senior years, Frizzette and I were in nursing class together at CDC along with Kim summerlin, Denise Parris and some other very special people (funny story about all of us later).  We all got jobs as nursing assistants and Frizzette would pick me up for our shift and we would go to work very proudly wearing our white nurse's uniforms.  Although I did not pursue the field, she did...but I never knew to what extent because we lost contact when she went off to college.

We loved to laugh and found humor in just about everything but she was a little more serious than I was and would not hesitate to play the big sister role when needed!  I was shocked when I returned from basic training  to hear that she was no longer with us.

She was always encouraging to everyone, focused, passionate, proud, and responsible.  I wish that I could laugh with her just one more time but im sure she is laughing with the angels now.  She helped to make my high school years wonderful and memorable...She is truly missed and this world is a better place because she was here!

I remember Frizzette's smile.  She always treated everyone with kindness.  She was a friend to all.  She left a positive lasting impression on everyone she met.
