Linda Smith Knox

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Linda L. Knox, 62, of 1216 Knox Pointe Lane, Rock Hill, S.C., passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at her residence. She was born Aug. 6, 1951, in York County to the late Rosa Lee Smith and Roy Daniel. She attended Rock Hill High School. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and served on the Trustee Board, Pastor's Aid, and Deaconness and Usher Board. She is survived by husband, Herbert L. Knox Sr. of Rock Hill; daughters, Tarnell K. Jones (Willie) and Adrienne L. Knox, both of Rock Hill; son, Herbert L. Knox Jr. (Sherrell) of Rock Hill; grandchildren, Michael T. Knox, Devin A. Jones, Jalyn E. Jones, Aubrey G. Knox, Herbert L. Knox III and Brely R. Knox; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Charles Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
