Mary Beth Burton Rollings  (May 13, 1953 - March 9, 2021)

Mrs. Mary Beth Burton Rollings, age 67, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Jefferson Cemetery by Pastor David Grubbs and Pastor Joey Nelms. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Rollings will lie in repose from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Jefferson Church of God. Friends are welcome to come by and pay their respects.

Due to the continued COVID-19 risks, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times and refrain from any physical contact. The family would like for all attending the service to please wear a face covering.

Mrs. Rollings was born May 13, 1953 in Rock Hill, SC a daughter of the late Lyle and Mary Jamieson Burton. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and received her undergraduate degree from Winthrop University. Mary Beth attained her Masters of Education degree from Francis Marion University. A faithful member of Jefferson Church of God, Mrs. Rollings was a former Sunday school teacher, church pianist, and was very active in the children’s church ministry.

Mrs. Rollings was a dedicated educator who spent her career investing in the lives of countless young people. Her infectious smile, Christian spirit, and positive outlook will forever remain in the minds and hearts of her family, colleagues, and students. A devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, Mary Beth will be remembered for loving her family deeply, especially her grandchildren.
  
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jimmy Rollings of the home; children, Lisa R. (Rodney) Miller of Jefferson, SC, and David (Amy) Rollings of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Madison, Camryn, Isis, Sky, Andrew, and Ava; sister, Patricia (Ernie) Johnston of Rock Hill, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
