Larry Theodore Yandle
January 17, 1953 - September 13, 2023

Rock Hill, South Carolina - Born January 17th, 1953, at Rock Hill SC, Larry was the son of the late James Harvey and Evelyn Carter Yandle, and a much adored nephew of the late Cecil T. and Rachel B. Carter.
He was a loving, devoted husband to his wife of 43 years, Carol Bostic Yandle, a wonderful, loving Dad to his two sons John and Will, and best friend to his brother, Paul.
Soft spoken, talented, and intelligent, Larry's love of history and a desire to build things led him first into the fields of renovation and custom home building before pursuing a later career as both a residential and commercial construction superintendent specialized in historic preservation and rehabilitation. His work projects included historic homes in Rock Hill, Charleston SC, Nantucket, MA, Lynchburg Va. Most recently he was employed by Leitner Construction Co. working on their various projects, which he enjoyed immensely.
He loved his friends and if you were one, you know how loyal a friend he was to have in your life. He was the quiet soft spoken one with a loving sweet manner.
He is survived by his wife Carol, his sons John and Will, his brother Paul, his Sister in law Debbie (David deceased) Bostic of Rock Hill, Brother-in-law Bud and wife Susie Bostic, of Bostic NC, Brother-in-law Tony Bostic, Rock Hill, nieces and nephews Brett, wife Katie Bostic, Matt McClain, Alex, wife Megan, McClain, Molly McClain, Sierra husband Shivam Patel, Bethany husband Austin Burgess, Cody Bostic. There will be a visitation celebration of life for Larry at the historic White House on East White Street in Rock Hill on Tuesday, September 19th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful friends, family, business associates, and the hospice team of Providence Care who were our guiding light through this difficult time. We will always remember with immense gratitude.
