David Steven Sprouse
February 17, 1953 - December 17, 2024

Rock Hill, SC – David Steven Sprouse, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Born on February 17, 1953, in Union, SC, he was the beloved son of the late Ernest Marion and Gladys O'Shields Sprouse. David was a cherished brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his brothers, Paul E. Sprouse of Pawleys Island, SC, and Eric M. Sprouse of Charlotte, NC; his niece, Ashley Sprouse Saleeby (Eli) of Hartsville, SC; and his nephew, William W. Sprouse of West Columbia, SC.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Stephen Paul Sprouse.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Piedmont Medical Center, the compassionate team at Providence Care, and the staff at Mercy House for their unwavering care and support during David’s final days.

A celebration of David’s life will be planned for after the holidays.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor David’s memory may donate to Providence Care or Mercy House.
