McCONNELLS - Miss Rebecca Williamson, 88, of 110 Ferndale Road died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Ebenezer Nursing Home.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Bethesda Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Anthony Dick and Samuel Hoyt officiating.

Born in York County, Miss Williamson was a daughter of the late William Harvey Williamson and Estelle Jane Davison Williamson.

A graduate of Winthrop College, she was a teacher and school counselor at Rock Hill High School. Miss Williamson was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder, was active in the Presbyterian Women and taught Sunday school.

She was a member of the Asbury Coward Literary Society in York, the Historical Society at Brattonsville, Friends of the Library and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Surviving are three brothers, Neil Williamson of McConnells, William H. Williamson Jr. of Charlotte and James "Jim" Williamson of Union; five nieces; five nephews; seven great-nieces; and eleven great-nephews.

The family will receive friends following the funeral and at other times at the home of Neil Williamson.
