Daughter of the late Dr. James Douglas and Ruby Baker Yongue; wife of J. C. Cannon.

Graduate of Furman University and attended Wake Forest University; retired school teacher with the York County School District (taught biology at Rock Hill High School); member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survived by her husband, J.C. Cannon. Predeceased by a son, John Douglas Cannon.

Funeral services: Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, chapel of Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, Pickens SC.
