John Ricky “Slick” Barber
August 22, 1953 - December 7, 2024

Ricky, as he was known at Emmett Scott High School and Rock Hill High School, was one of 12 children born August 22, 1953 to the late William Joe Barber (died 1975) and the late Beulah Feely Barber (died 2018).

Ricky was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Lonnie Dean Barber (died 2017). To mourn his loss are his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Gwinnette Duncan-Barber, his children, and 10 of his siblings: William Joe Barber Jr.(Angie), Bertha Rosetta Barber Chisholm (Andrew, Jr.), Albert Ronald Barber(Doris), Johnny Lee Barber, Gary Bernard Barber (Yvetta), Tommy Leon Barber (SaraAnn), Terry Anthony Barber, Twan Bruce Barber (Sherrille), Melissa Arlene Barber Campbell (Derrick), and Travis Lemond Barber (Shannon).
