William Earl Wilks died May 1, 2004 in Clark County, Nevada.
He was born the youngest of 4 boys to Edith Moller Wilks and Cecil R. Wilks Sr. on October 24, 1945 in Los Angeles.
He was a graduate of Rock Springs High School.He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was decorated for his role in a Naval-at-sea rescue. He also obtained a degree from Western Wyoming College. He was retired at the time of his death but he resided and worked in Rock Springs most of his life.
In 1976 he married Kathryn Ann Buckmaster and they had two children together during the time of their marriage.
He is survived by one daughter, Victoria Lynn and husband Zach Antuna of Spearfish, SD; a son, Ryan Wilks of Indian Springs, Nv; two brothers, Cecil R. Wilks Jr. of Riverside, CA, Henry A Wilks and wife Judy Kay of Kailua, Hawaii, and one-sister-in-law of Pocatello, ID.
He was proceded in death by his parents and one brother, LeRoy R. Wilks.
Interment was in the Black Hills National Cemetary in Sturgis, SD.
