Stacey M. Wormington-Remack, 43, of Marion, IA, formerly of Aurora, IL, passed away September 24, 2006. A Celebration of Stacey's life will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, IA, by Rev. Dr. Kay Slocum of First Lutheran Church. Arrangements are with the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Stacey was born on January 17, 1963 in Clinton, IA. She attended East High School and graduated from Rockford College, Rockford, IL, in 1985, with a double major in Spanish and French. She was united in marriage to Ken Remack on June 11, 1990 in Cancun, Mexico. She was a social worker in the Chicago area.
Stacey and Ken became proud parents of Cole Remack on September 20, 2000. In addition to her husband and son, she leaves behind her mother and best friend, Wanda J. Wormington, Ann Arbor, MI; a brother, Jason Wormington of Overland Park, KS; a loving extended family; and many friends.
