Robert M. “Bob” Gustafson, 57, of Pecatonica, IL, passed away suddenly Monday evening, April 19, 2021. He was born December 18, 1963 in Rockford, IL, the son of Robert and Carolyn (Sanders) Gustafson. Bob graduated from Rockford East High School. He enjoyed his job as a CNC operator at Anpec for several years, as well as working part time at Mike’s One Stop in Pecatonica. Bob was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church. In his younger years, Bob loved playing on baseball leagues at Roy Gayle. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, attaining the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Bob was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing, camping and fourwheeling. He loved playing the acoustic guitar. Bob was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Bob was an outgoing person, who enjoyed life to the fullest. 

Bob is loved and missed by his sister, Brenda (Scott) England; stepfather, Bill Mortonson of Ft. Myers, FL; stepmother, Melodie Gustafson of Jacksonville, FL; aunt, Peggy A. Griese; and cousins, Gary Bruce Griese and Linda Griese. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Gustafson and Carolyn Mortonson; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Dorothy Sanders; paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Dorothy Gustafson; and uncle, Alan Gustafson.
