She was born May 3, 1963 in Peoria, Illinois to William Edward Palmer and Muriel Grace (Berry). Graduated from Rockford East High School District 1981 and received B.S. from NIU 1986. She was married to David Bird 1986. Worked at various mortgage and other places of business. Ran for Mayor of Mount Prospect 2009. Enjoyed tennis, music, banking, politics, and writing. Patty is survived by husband David, daughters Bonnie and Darcy, sister Susan Eggemeyer of St. Louis Missouri, brother William Palmer of Crystal Lake, and brother Phil Palmer of Peoria. She is also survived by 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
