ROBERT E. "BOB" WEAVER, age 63, passed away October 6, 2012. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Meister) for 32 years; loving father of Ashley and R. Taylor; son of Robert and Laurie (both deceased); dear brother of Jim (Kitty); uncle of Jimmy and Maggie; nephew of Aunt "Bubbles" of Florida. Raised in Rocky River and a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area, Bob resided in Bay Village for many years. He graduated from Bowling Green State University, with a BS in Business, where he was Vice President of the Ohio Kappa Chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Bob spent much of his career providing insurance services to businesses who often sought out Bob's trusted advice on solving everyday problems. For the past 19 years, he was with the Jackson, Dieken & Associates insurance agency most recently as Executive Vice President. The consummate professional, Bob was extremely active in both the local, national and in many respects the global insurance industry. Locally, Bob had served over the years as an active member of the Surety Association of Northern Ohio, American Institute of Contractors (AIC), Construction Financial Management Association, Ohio Contractors Association, Cleveland Chapter of American Institute of Architects, Cleveland Engineering Society, National Association of Surety Bond Producers and the Ohio Public Risk Management Association. Outside of NEO, he was the former Midwest Regional Chairman of the CNA Agents Advisory Panel and a former Membership Chairman of AIC. Bob was also the Past Chairman of both the Board of Directors for ARM (Associated Risk Managers) of Ohio and the Past Chairman of ARM International (ARMI). ARMI is the largest marketing organization of independent insurance agencies in the world. An avid golfer and world traveler, Bob was a member of Lakewood Country Club and also enjoyed reading, tennis, fishing, hunting and boating.
