Freddie Barrera

It sounds like I am going to miss a really good time. Unfortunately even with Ike bearing down on Htown, we cannot get away. Michelle is part of the Methodist Hospital's response team and has to stay nearby for the aftermath. I will be thinking of you all and I hope the reunion is as much fun as it sounds like it is going to be.

Hey Freddie, we'll drink a few for you. Be careful down there.

Gina Pearson (McCallum)

Freddie - I just knew you were going to surprise us walking in with your megaphone and yell something out! We will definately drink one for you and keep Ike down there!

Well Shane's 3-4 beers up on everyone already!

Michael Thornton got in touch with me today and he's on the list to come now too.

Hey Jimmy, Chris, Where are you two fools, your gonna miss the party!!!!

Um...I've not gotten one shout out and no one has offered to drink those Bud Lights for me. I'm not really feelin' the love right now! Come on now...hit me with it. I sure wish I was gonna be there. I cant wait for Gina to send me some pics!

I'd like to send a shout out to you, Gina! I knocked a couple back for you. Hell, we all did.
I was expecting to see some changes in everyone and any changes I saw were all for the better.
I always felt like we had a great class of friends and last night was my confirmation. Twenty years later, it felt more like a family reunion than a class reunion.

Cheers to the Graduation Family of 1988! Looking forward to today and much love to Gina, Ange, and Eric for doing this. Y'ALL ROCK!!!!!!

Thanks Ron! I always knew I could count on you. :-)

OCD me was up at crack-of-dawn:30 because I woke up then couldn't go back to sleep. Jay is heading out to the truck for the tranquilizer gun so I've got to type fast. Glad I learned that from Ange's mom :)

Once again, last night was awesome! OUR CLASS ROCKS!!!!

Gina H.-You wouldn't believe the amount of alcohol we HAD to drink for you last night. Because of that, I think it's only fair that you contribute to the subsequent detox/rehab, bail, court costs, therapy, etc. that will be required. Just sayin...

You and all the others who couldn't make it were dearly missed. We hope you are all safe and sound wherever you are.

No wonder I had such a headache this morning and a goofy smile. Thank Y'all.......Y'all do love me! :-) It's amazing the sacrifices friends make for one another. I do apologize for the impending rehab though. How about since y'all drank for me...I'll stay sober for y'all. I know , I know..I"m a saint.......but y'all are worth it! :-)

Rhonda--Aren't you tired yet? The last two days have just about done me in.

The whole weekend was great. Those of you that didn't make it really missed out on a good time. Thanks again to Gina and Angela for doing all the hard work. Last night turned out awesome. The memory books and slide show really turned out good. I'm really glad Joe finally got some pictures in there.

Thanks for all the kind words and soooooo glad everyone had a great time and it all worked out good. Special thanks to Ange for helping me plan and taking care of the slideshow & Eric for helping as well and supplying the set up for the music, GOOD JOB! Thanks to John Ray for getting the Proxima to watch the slideshow on. Lots of thanks to Ron & Jay for helping get the banguet hall decorated and set up and for coming up with the sunflower idea, perfect.

A very special and much appreciated thank you for all of you who dug deep to help cover expenses for the ones that said would be there but didn't show. I'm with Ron with what she said it was more like a family reunion than a class reunion. I love all just like family and wouldn't trade all those wonderful years for anything.

I'm taking a bit of a break to rest/recover and will get things going to get pictures posted and sections up for us to share all our photos.

I hope we all continue to keep in touch and give shout outs on here from time to time as time goes on. I'll start thinking of things to do for next time and make things even better but I do have to say this was pretty damn fun and awesome.

One other shout out to Joe, I love ya guy and like I told you if I didn't love ya I wouldn't have picked on you but it was good I must say.

One other thing, it has been brought to my attention that our new motto should be "ROCK OUT WITH OUR COCKS OUT!" But I don't know so much about that.

Tessa what are your thoughts. Oh Ron, you still got it going on in that twirler girl uniform.

All the guys weren't cute like they once were they are all now handsome and the pretty girls are now beautiful women.

Everones kids were so adorable and/or beautiful and could see a bit of my classmates in them all. Do I feel old????.........nope........very blessed. Thank you all.

JohnRay and Donna S- I appreciate your hard work in getting the proxima/slideshow presentation working! I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it!

Gina- Can't say enough how wonderful everything was! I had tears in my eyes when I saw the cover of the scrapbook! :) Go rest now!

All who attended- Like Gina said, it was so great to see you and visit. Your children, spouses and significant others are so wonderful too! Hope they now feel a part of the family.

Those who didn't make it- We were thinking of you all and you were there in spirit, but next time your asses better be there! heehee

One more big thanks to Jerry for some GREAT food on Sat. afternoon!!! I wish the weather wouldn't have caused us to miss out on the park, but it was still good and I know my Bethany wasn't the only child who enjoyed running around on the stage!

09/15/08 12:49 AM #138

Gina Pearson (McCallum)

Gosh my bad! Yes Thank you Jerry & Melissa for the burgers and dogs. The kids still seemed to have enjoyed themselves even though we didn't get to go to the park and as always the company was great!

John Ray once again loved the Bubba Gump!

Tessa Richter (Guevara)

I don't know how or if I can say thank you enough to all of you who worked so hard to put this on.

Gina, it has been your vision and hard work....almost two years in the making....all I've got to say is "what a weekend". Thank you! The memory books are incredible! I have not been able to put it down! I have enjoyed reading about everyone and the pics in the back just brought back soooo many memories!! "Isn't the moon pretty", I digress.

Ange, the slide show in a word amazing! You are one of my best friends and I know what's on your plate everyday. So for you to find the time it took to scan, edit and create such a masterpiece I will never know. I will continue to be in awe of your dedication to everything you take on! You are my hero!

Eric, Melissa, John Ray, Jerry (nice post), Melissa, Donna, Rhonda & Jay....you all added that special touch that meant so much! Thank you!

& Travis, nice speech! I so wish I could have visited with you more!!

I only wish the time had not flown by so fast! It was so nice seeing everyone and your families. I hope it is not another 20 years before I see all of you again. If any of you are ever up my way, stop by and visit. Miss and love you all....my family of 1988!

Jerry you are absolutely correct! As for the crown, they have until the 30 year reunion to make more....it will take that long for me to want ANY more after saturday night!

Gina, maybe Rock out with your Crown out....
