Kathy Renee Kennedy Smith, 49, of Rogersville, Missouri departed this life on September 17, 2010, after a brief and courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born November 29, 1960, to Joseph and Bonnie Kennedy of Rogersville, Mo.  She is survived by her husband Joe; sons, Michael and Ethan; her mother and father; sister, Carol Kennedy Koeneke of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brother, David Kennedy of Rogersville, Mo., and a host of loving family and friends. She worked the last several years in the Logan Rogersville Schools Central office as a bookkeeper and school board treasurer. 
On September 20, 2010 there was a brief visitation from 5 - 7 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home East followed by a memorial service officiated by the Rev. Winston Burton starting at 7p.m.
