Oh, Laurel, how we miss you. You set the mark for being a lady. You had the grace, poise and intelligence that made you stand out. Your love for your family and loyalty to your friends will long be remembered but some of my best memories of you were those from our reunions. You certainly did not get to attend enough of them. We always looked forward to seeing Laurel Hoffman Smith. You always showed up looking beautiful with your ever present smile and your impeccable sense of style. There was never enough time to hear your stories about your life in other countries. You are much loved and missed greatly by all that knew you.
