Christine Clark Obituary

On July 2, 2020 Christine Marie (Bonnamy) Clark passed away on July 2, 2020, in Vienna, Virginia at the age of 64.

Chris was born December 6, 1955 to James Norbert and Alice Marie (LeClercq) Bonnamy, Sr. in Chicago, Illinois. She received a BA from DePauw University, an MBA from Indiana University, and began her career as a partner with Arthur Andersen, practicing as a tax accountant and consultant for 30 years. On January 7, 1999 she married (Martin) Keith Clark, her beloved partner and best friend.

Chris loved running, hiking, biking, skiing, tennis and golf. She volunteered at Capital Church, Wolf Trap National Park, Survivors Teaching Students (Ovarian Cancer), and as an AARP tax aide volunteer. Chris was kind, compassionate and a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. She inspired others to live a Christian life of love and service. She had a delightful sense of humor and the charming ability to make everyone feel like her special friend. Those who knew her won't be surprised to learn she left two large binders with excel spreadsheets and clear directions on how to manage her affairs posthumously.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Alice, and sister, Patricia Ann Wautlet. She is survived by her husband, Keith, and his four children Priscilla, Lorie, Matt and Neil, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four siblings Bonnie Lee (Lyle) Schroeder, James Norbert (Joan) Bonnamy Jr., Mary Lou (Bill) Mastro, and Therese Marie (Glen) Davis.
Chris was deeply grateful to the team at Walter Reed Medical Center for their skilled and compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held in the near future. Donations in lieu of flowers to Capital Church (For Missions), 10233 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22182 or CrossPassion Ministries International, 2001 W. Plano Parkway, Suite 1900-19F, Plano, TX 75075.
