Robert J. Goetz Of Mundelein, formerly of Elgin. Robert J. Goetz was born on October 30, 1949 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Robert and Emlee (nee Konecny) Goetz. He died Sunday, July 31, 2016. Robert worked as an Industrial Arts teacher for Lake Park High School in Roselle. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and being outdoors in Door Co. Wisconsin. His family was his greatest joy. Robert is survived by his spouse of 42 years, Janis nee Lemein; his sons, Douglas Goetz (Rebecca Sommers) and Jonathan (Lindsey) Goetz; his grandsons, Andrew and Connor Goetz; his sister, Nancy (The late Steven) Young; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, August 5, 2016.
