Visitation for Robert E. Smith 84 is from 4-7 PM Sunday September 24, 2017 at the Kristan Funeral Home PC 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Rt. 45 on Rt. 176) Mundelein. Funeral service will begin at 11 AM Monday at the Life Bridge Community Church 700 W. Liberty St. Wauconda, IL 60084. Interment will follow in Ivanhoe Cemetery, Mundelein.Bob was born February 23, 1933 in Monico, WI and died Wednesday September 20, 2017 at home.His passion was music. He played in the 5th Army Band. Bob was devoted to Jesus, his family, his Country and was faithful to his friends and people in need. He also enjoyed his Diet Cokes from McDonalds on a daily basis.Bob is survived by his wife Ardes (nee Wang), his children Polly (Ken) Toeller, Sally (Don) Marquis, Sue Smith, Tammy (Paul Paolini) Smith, step-children Karen Del Prete, Lynda (Brad) Moore, his brother Earl "Jim" (Jan) Smith, his nephew Mike (Jackie) Smith, nieces Lisa (Tim) Starbuck, Ruth (Steve) Etherton, grandchildren Bobby Marquis, Christopher Toeller, Daniel (Hilary) Moore, Daniel Marquis, Michael Paolini, Stephen (Stacy) Moore, Kelsey Paolini, Juliana Del Prete, Samantha (Brad) Greene, great grandchildren Asher Moore, Maverick Greene and his sister in-law Joyce Smith.
