Terry Stoerzinger

I thought she spelled her name with an "i" instead of a "y", but I may be wrong. I never knew that her real name is Terrill.

This isn't a high school story, but it's what I've got.

I think Terri was already at Rosemount in the first grade. I seem to remember taking an afternoon class trip to her parent's hobby farm for a picnic and outing. This was either the 1st or 2nd grade. Her mother was the school nurse at one point.

In either the 3rd or 4th grade, there was a spring musical presented by the elementary school. Each class had a part in the musical, but there were 3 actors on stage for the whole event. The show was about three farm animals and the trouble they got into. Terri Aff was a rooster, Wayne Frey was a white dog with black spots and I was a donkey. We were in fairly elaborate costumes which I think our mothers had sewn. We were old enough that we were slightly humiliated by the whole affair. We were assigned the positions, and there was no backing out. I can still remember the words and tune to the silly theme song that kept coming up over and over throughout the show. Terri seemed to survive the affair without any lasting damage. It took Wayne Frey and me several years to regain our dignity.
