I was hoping to see Kathy at the 50th reunion. I had not seen her since the 5 year reunion. At that time she had gone into the Navy as a nurse. It was not until the "Class of 1970 website" was published that I learned she had passed away on Christmas Eve of 2014. Kathy and I were in the same circle of friends. We were in many of the same classes in our Junior and Senior years. She was a wizard at math, but I could usually keep up with her in Mr. Warter's physics class. I remember her as dedicated and hard-working. It appears that she remained so for the rest of her life. My sympathy goes out to her family.

Sad to see that Kathy had passed this young and sympathy for her family and loved ones.
We were close friends and companions our Senior year at RHS.  She clearly lived adult life dedicated to her well known core values for service of others as a Nurse, wife & mother, Naval Officer and yes even a Boy Scout  leader.  Although we were not close after RHS, our paths did cross from time to time in the Navy, and I even served briefly at sea with her husband Jeff during Desert Storm.  Respectfully, Wayne Frey
