Mark grew up about a mile down the road from me. We rode the school bus together for many years. After high school, Mark was in the Air Force. He served in Vietnam. He than moved to Memphis.

Memphis, TN Formerly Of Inver Grove Hts. Age 52, passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2004 after his 2 yr. battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph S. Prokop. Survived by his wife, Marty; son, Lee; mother, Mary Dee Prokop-McDonough; sisters, Jeannine (Gordon) Andren, Eileen (Dean) Mewes, LeAnn (John) O'Leary; 1 granddaugter, Angelina; nieces and nephews; 2 step-sons, Jimmy (LeAnn) and Reen (Tanya); and 2 step-grandchildren. He was currently employed by the City of Memphis and had a love for the Mighty Mississippi and his boats.
