In Memory

Gail Weinstein

Gail was a friend in HS, but we were never in touch afterward. It is stunning to read about her life achievements now. And it is so sad that she is gone. Ovarian cancer is among the worst - my sister suffered from it, but thankfully lived. Thank you Barbara for bringing this to our attention. Alex Sirotkin

I was friendly with Gail in 9th grade. I am so sorry to hear she died. She was very smart and we shared a lot through our love of fiction.

Gail was a warm, loving friend. Funny too! Although we didn't keep in touch after high school, I miss her spirit. Here's the link to her obituary which details her amazing career: https://www.sfgate.com/education/article/Gail-Weinstein-professor-and-linguist-dies-at-55-2522219.php Barbara Norcia-Broms
