Debbie Lunsford Ball Nix

Debbie Lunsford Ball-Nix, 53, of Soddy Daisy passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.  A native of North Georgia, Debbie graduated from Rossville High School in 1973, and was employed as a Paralegal for Johnny D. Houston, Attorney at Law in Chattanooga for the past seven years. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reita Oneita Huff-Lunsford and Robert Lee Lunsford, Sr. 
  
Survivors include her husband, Michael Nix; sons, Sean (Michelle) Ball of Rossville and Nicholas (Tova) Ball of Cleveland, GA; step-daughter, Jessica Nix of Lookout Mountain; brother, Bobby (Diane) Lunsford of Rossville; sisters, Janet (Larry) Parham of Ider, Al and Alice Faye (Scotty) Thomas of Norman, OK; dear grandchildren, Kelan and Rylan Ball and Emmalee Jones; and she was a special aunt to Laurel, Ben, and Lee. 
  
Debbie’s caring, loving, and giving spirit will not be forgotten by the many lives she has touched.  She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and colleagues.
