Ronald Edwin “Ron” Pruett, 57, of Rossville passed away Monday, August 27, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Rossville, was a 1973 graduate of Rossville High School, was of the Baptist Faith, had been a salesman for many years with Electric Motor Sales, and was past president of the Ridgeland Band Boosters from 1994-1996. His passions in life were his family, cooking, traveling, and playing sports such as golf, bowling, and billiards. Ron was also an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard E. Pruett; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Mary N. Pope; and paternal grandparents, Charles J. and Willie Bell Pruett. 

Survivors include his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Pruett; daughter, Mandy Dione Mitchell of Rock Spring; mother, Elaine Pope Pruett of Chickamauga; sisters, Sharon (Randy) Townsell of Ringgold and Vicki (Gary) Fann of Rossville; brother, Alan (Diane) Pruett of Ringgold; several nieces and nephews; and two great nieces.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Keith Mcleod and Reverend Eddie Bolin, Jr. officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
