Charles Thurman Jr., 52, Chattanooga, Tenn.
Charles Leonard “Chuck” Thurman Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn., died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. He was 52. He lived in the Rossville and Chattanooga areas for most of his life and was a member of Spring Creek Church of God. He was also an accountant for many years and owned and operated T&T Tax Service for more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Thurman Sr.; brother, Steve Thurman; son, David Thurman. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Thurman of Rossville; his loving wife of more than 21 years, Debbie Thurman of Chattanooga; children, Charles Leonard Thurman III of Rossville, Candy Frazier of Ringgold, Paul Zarzour of Rossville; sister, Tricia Thurman of Rossville; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services: Friday, Jan. 18, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Revs. Bennie Mills and Joe Sneed officiating. Burial: Chattanooga Memorial Park.
