Obituary from Roswell Daily Record
The Rev. Steven Halvorson, born June 21, 1971, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008. He died peacefully, at his home in Colorado Springs, of natural causes.
Steven is survived by his wife of 11 years, Alisha; children, Caleb, age 9, and Abby, age 4; and his parents, Steven Sr. and Lynne Halvorson; and his "Uncle John," aunt, Julianna; and nieces Shelby and Shilo Halvorson of Roswell.
Steven was called to the ministry of Jesus Christ when he was in junior high, and ever since, he lived his life in service to his Lord. Steven is a 1989 graduate of Goddard High School in Roswell, and later went on to Arlington Baptist Bible College where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry.
The light of Steven's life was the time he spent with his family and his ministry to his students. Steven had the God-given ability to be able to reach out to kids who were in need of a friend. Steven will always be remembered by the hundreds of lives he touched with his wonderful sense of humor, and his powerful teaching of God's word. He will be forever loved and forever missed, but those of us who love Jesus are confident that we will spend eternity with him in the presence of our Almighty God.

I'm kinda shocked to hear the news.
His presence on this planet will absolutely be missed!
