James Michael Williams passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the age of 37. He was born on July 16, 1973 in Austin, TX and grew up in Round Rock. He graduated from Round Rock High School and The University of Texas with a degree in business. He and his family joined Palm Valley Lutheran Church on July 16, 1978 (his fifth birthday) and remained a member until he left the Round Rock area after he graduated from high school. He was employed at El Paso Corporation in Houston, TX as a tax accountant at the time of his death. James is survived by his parents, Harry and Sarah Williams of Round Rock, his wife Christie and children, Taylor (7) and Zachary (7) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by his brothers, John and his wife Shera, Jeff and his wife Lupita, both of Houston, TX. His family also included three nieces, three nephews, numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. James always felt his most precious gift was his family and friends. James was very friendly and could carry on a conversation with anyone and had a great sense of humor. He always enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. James, along with his brothers, participated in youth soccer, baseball, basketball and track. He also played football for Round Rock High School.
