JERSEYVILLE — Barbara Lynn (Balicki) Hodge, 66, passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017 in St. Louis, Missouri, after a courageous battle with lung cancer and heart issues.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on Dec. 3, 1950, daughter of the late Benedict and Thelma Balicki. For many years, she worked alongside her husband Dennie at Olin Corp. in East Alton, Illinois. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Barb leaves behind to mourn her passing: her loving husband of 48 years, Dennie A. Hodge of Jerseyville, Illinois; her two dear sons, Dennis (Jamie) Hodge of Alton, Illinois, and James (Coleen) Hodge of Norris City, Illinois; her much-adored grandchildren, Christian, Connor, Collin, Breona, Shelby, Jacob and Colin; great-granddaughter Kenlee; her siblings, Larry Balicki of California, Mark Balicki of Washington, Greg Balicki of Alton, Illinois, Steve (Tina) Balicki of South Roxana, Illinois, and Judy (Ed) Steed and Benita Balicki, both of Bethalto, Illinois; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial will be on Monday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at Lifebrook Church, 400 N. Beau Chateaux, Bethalto IL, 62010. Private burial at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, Illinois
