JAMES LlOYD “JIMMY” TUCK, JR. age 64, of 11811 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, NC died Friday morning, February 19, 2016 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Mr. Tuck was born on September 29, 1951 in Person County, NC to the late James Lloyd Tuck, Sr. & Carrie Lee Seate Tuck who survives and was husband of 47 years to Alice Aiken Tuck who also survives. Jimmy was a retired supervisor from the NCDOT after 28 years of service and was a member of High View Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are a son, Casey James Tuck & wife, Ann of Roxboro, daughter, Nancy Tuck Kamp & husband, Albert of South Boston, VA, brother, Timmy Tuck & wife, Rachel of Roxboro, four grandchildren, Amber Tuck, Dustin Tuck, Brandon Kamp, Blakely Kamp, great granddaughter, Piper Saunders, nephew, Joshua Tuck, niece, Leah Tuck and father & mother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Aiken.

In addition to his father, Mr. Tuck is preceded in death by two children and a brother, Wayne Tuck.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at High View Baptist Church by the Rev. Avery Dalton. Interment will follow in the Virgilina Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home and other times at the home of Timmy & Rachel Tuck, 11809 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, NC.

Pallbearers will be Charles Carr, Doug Humphries, Eddy Moody, Tommie Rice, Larry Seate and Donnie Thaxton.

Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to the High View Baptist Church General Fund, 144 High View Church Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
