WILLIE YANCEY VAUGHAN, JR. age 64, of 8131 Boston Road, Roxboro, NC died Sunday morning, February 21, 2016 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Vaughan was born March 23, 1951 in Person County, NC to the late Willie Yancey Vaughan, Sr. & Louise Paige Gentry Vaughan who survives. Yancey was a retired machinist and was a member of Allensville United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, Janice Mooney & husband, Ryan of Rougemont, NC, Tammy Vaughan of Raleigh, NC, two brothers, Randy Vaughan & wife, Kitty of Yanceyville, NC, Perry Vaughan & wife, Melissa of Oxford, NC, eight grandchildren, a great granddaughter and companion, Marie Rose of Roxboro.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Allensville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Barry Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service and other times at the home of Janice & Ryan Mooney, 2028 Mt. Harmony Church Road, Rougemont, NC.

Pallbearers will be Jerrick Landrum, Weldon Reaves, Colton Vaughan, Dalton Vaughan, Justin Vaughan and Colin Wade.
