Frances passed away January 30, 2010, from heart-related illness.  She had turned 59 on November 21st. Her twin brother, Martin 'Buster' Bohannon, also in our class, passed away in 1997.

Mrs. Frances Bohannon Shelton, age 59, of 149 Lewis Winstead Loop Road, died Saturday morning at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Shelton was a native of Person County, daughter of the late Donald Tuck Bohannon and Edith"Sis" Long Bohannon who survives. She was a member of the Roxboro Church of Christ.

In addition to her mother Mrs. Shelton is survived by her husband of 40 years Bobby Shelton of the home; three children, Bobby Ray Shelton, Jr., of the home, Michelle Shelton Porterfield and husband Daniel, of Prospect Hill and Melissia Ann Shelton, of Roxboro; two brothers, Tony Bohannon and Joey Bohannon, both of Roxboro; five grandchildren, Lane Shelton, Kadence Porterfield, Kenzley Porterfield, Victoria Seate and Sean Seate.

Funeral services will held 11AM Wednesday at the Brooks & White Chapel by the Minister Wayne Holland and the Mr. Daniel Porterfield. Private interment will be at Person Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on 5-7PM Tuesday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 149 Lewis Winstead Loop Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
