Early Feb 2025, an obituary for Saltina Lynette Bass on Hester, Whitted, Daye Funeral Home website showed Saltina was preceded in death by mother Annette Bass; aunt Glenda Pettiford and 3 uncles, all Bass surname. (Glenda's brother William Bass died Oct 21, 2017, and was at that time survived by sister Glenda Pettiford.)

An obituary for Glenda was not found online but TruePeopleSearch lists Glenda Pettiford - died March 2021 (website showed she was also known as Glenda Bass Freeman, Glenda P Freeman, Glenda J Freeman, Glenda J Pettiford, Glenda B Pettiford, Glinder B Pettiford).  Based on this information, Glenda was added to RHS Class of 1969 "In Memory".
