PASTOR MERRITT DANNY SOLOMON, age 69, of 857 Poindexter Road, Hurdle Mills, NC died Sunday evening, November 8, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Solomon was born September 1, 1951 in Durham County, NC, son of the late Floyd Daniel & Fannie Christine Shotwell Solomon and was husband of 50 years to Angela  Long Solomon who survives. He was retired from ministry where he founded the Bible Baptist Tabernacle in 1987 and His Way Independent Baptist Church in 2013 where he attended and also worked for Eaton Corp. for more than 15 years.  Danny had a great sense of humor and enjoyed doing mechanic work and serving the Lord.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Patrick Solomon & wife Crystal, of Roxboro, NC, Angie Carroll & husband Curtis, of Connelly Springs, NC, Timothy Solomon & wife, Casey of Roxboro, NC, eight grandchildren, Cassidy Solomon, Cameron Solomon, Megan Worley, Jesse Carroll, Noah Solomon, Jacob Solomon, Emma Solomon, one great-grandson, Luke Worley, two sisters, Tina Clayton & husband, Johnny and Sharon Crabtree & husband, Mitch.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in the Bible Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery with the Rev. David Bolick and Pastor Curtis Carroll officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 5770 Miller Bridge Road, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
