TERRY LEE WATSON, age 70, of 514 Ephesus Church Road, Semora, NC, died Sunday morning, February 6, 2022 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Mr. Watson was born February 13, 1951 in Person County, NC, son of the late Reuben Estel & Lena Maye Carver Watson and was husband of 47 years to Linda Faye Snead Watson who survives. He was retired from the manufacturing industry and was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church.

Terry enjoyed bowling, going to auction sales, going to the Saturday night races at Orange County and South Boston race tracks, and was an avid Duke Blue Devil and New York Yankees fan. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Terry Wayne Watson of Roxboro, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Watson is preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Watson Morris.  

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Robert Hardy officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
