Dolly Mae Humphries, 70, of Roxboro, died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Humphries and Mabel Denny Humphries. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Earl Humphries.

Ms. Humphries worked for North American Aerodynamics for many years. She loved her children and being able to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Humphries loved her cat and gardening.

Surviving are her children, Tina Snow and husband, Troy of Roxboro and Earl Wayne Bowes (Wendy McFarland) of Roxboro; one brother, William Humphries (Mildred) of Roxboro; two sisters: Polly Carver (Randy) of Roxboro and Esther Vaughan of Stovall; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Brooks & White Chapel with the Rev. John Pritchard officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (10-11 AM) and other times at the home of her daughter, Tina Snow (340 Westover Drive, Roxboro, NC 27573).
