Greg was my first cousin and I have so many memories of him in and out of school. He would do anything for anyone. I remember playing ball in the yard at Grandma's with him and my other cousins. Finally getting to go to school together as we both got into middle school. His daughter and my son were born a week apart so we both got to share in the joy of our first children being born together. The last time I saw him was in Walmart not long before he died...came up behind me and poked me in the side and scared the hell out of me...and laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world. But that was Greg. I had the honor of being asked to sing at his funeral. One of the hardest things I ever had to do. But he still lives on in his daughter and now a new grandson, who by the way shares a birthday with me! He will be a year old April 2 of this year. Britney named him William Gregory. Miss ya Cuz!

Well my memories of Greg come from a different aspect. Greg and I hunted together. Yes, deer hunting, I am a tom boy at heart and was always made to feel like one of the guys while hunting with Greg and his father. Greg was such a fun loving person and loved to hunt, I think he lived for that time of year. The last time I saw Greg was during hunting season before he was killed,we were actually paired off walking through the woods listening for the dogs to see where they were running the deer but only us hunters knows what thats like, right... the adrenaline rush.Greg was a great dad and was an inspiration to people who truly knew him and knew the struggles he had in his life and turned them around. He was truly loved and is to this day greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family every day. . . .
